  • JOB SUMMARY

    A Station Manager (SM) is in charge of the day-to-day operations of a branch/station, which can include inventory, employee scheduling, hiring and training, ordering and receiving supplies, and marketing. SMs also keeps an eye on competitor prices, ensure pump maintenance, and regularly report to the Area Operation Manager (AOMs).

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sees to it that the Branch/Station operation is running systematically in accordance to the standards set by the Company.

    Sees to it that all Branch/Station employee’s are functioning effectively in accordance to their individual Job Descriptions.

    Conducts 5-10 minutes meeting with all the Branch/Station Personnel every shift for reminder, proper turn over and repetition of Basic Forecourt Service Steps (BFS).

    Prepares Pump Attendants work schedule and day-offs.

    Summarizes the employees requests and records including 201 files, ledgers, memos, forms and reminders that require immediate action and dissemination.

    Oversees and assists the job performance of the forecourt crew by being going out to the forecourt area two to three times within the day.

    Records, checks and monitors the opening & closing sounding and records in the sounding notebook.

    Sends fuel volume reports to the President & CEO, MMD and Area Operations Manager (AOM).

    Regularly communicates and reports to the Area Operations Manager (AOM) pertaining to all concerns in the Branch/Station operation for immediate action of the requests, approval and FYI.

    Summarizes concerns and follows up the result thru feedbacking with the help of the Area Operations Manager, Admin and HR Heads.

    Monitors the inventory of all the products for sale both in the shop and in the forecourt area.

    Takes charge of all daily cash collection, reports and prepares deposit slips for bank pick up.

    Prepares and balances the daily shop sales summary, inventory and display of products in the shop.

    Safeguards the Petty Cash & Cash Sales to be kept in the vault for safekeeping.

    Performs pump meter reading every change shift witnessed by the Forecourt Supervisor and the Pump Attendant.

    Performs daily inventory per shift (morning, noon and night) to make sure that it is balanced with the actual daily collection both in cash, check and credit sales.

    Prepares, reviews and summarizes the Branch/Station payroll and submits to HO.

    Acts as the petty cash custodian, and prepares daily PCF Count.

    Implements Basic Forecourt Service Steps (BFS) and 5S in the Branch/Station.

    Monitors the fuel competitor’s price.

    Records and monitors the calibration and pump out.

    Reviews the Statement of Accounts, Summary Sales, Remittance Notebook, 2T Notebook and Sounding Notebook, deliveries of lubricants in the forecourt to make sure that the records are fully recorded.

    Resolves customer complaints by offering alternative solutions to the problem that will be acceptable to the customer and the Management.

    Orders out-of-stocks products in the Branch/Station approved by the Area Operations Manager (AOM).

    Checks daily the general condition of the Branch/Station building, office, generator set, forecourt area, landscape, comfort rooms, CCTV cameras, fire extinguisher expiry date, electrical & water connection, etc.

    Follows up the repair & maintenance requests of the Branch/Station.

    Represents the Branch/Station during every scheduled audit and sees to it that the audit findings will be recorded and closed immediately.

    Conducts interviews and pre-screening of Pump Attendant applicants in the Branch/Station (if applicable on the assigned branch).

    Conducts orientation to the newly hired selected Pump Attendants (if applicable on the assigned branch).

    Evaluates Personnel Performance of all Station/Branch Personnel and gives recommendation for termination, regularization and or promotion based on the merit of employee’s performance.

    Monitors and updates various permits/licenses of the rentables in the Branch/Stations. See to it that these files are ready and updated all the time in time for inspection.

    Performs other tasks that may be required by Area Operation Manager or by the Management whenever necessary.
